Gentle Yoga

As a former elementary school teacher I am very aware of the importance of teaching children self regulation of emotions along with social and emotional skills. For the first half of this class I will teach your child breath work, positive affirmations, along with moving their body through yoga poses (and some dancing). During the second half of this class we will move from the yoga studio to the classroom where we will work on social and emotional learning through story time, play, and crafts. 

*Parents must stay with their child.

Reiki is a technique for reducing stress and increasing relaxation. Enjoy receiving reiki in the studio and leave feeling relaxed and calm. When you arrive we will chat for a few moments in my office to check in and then you will proceed to the reiki room for your session. Once your session is complete we will proceed back to my office so we can discuss my discoveries and I will answer any of your questions.

Distance Reiki

Are you looking for a way to learn how to self-care? Let me coach you for 6 weeks on how to build a daily self-care practice for the mind, body, and spirit. I will teach you how to create a habit each week for your: physical self, social self, emotional self, intellectual self, and spiritual self so that every day you are practicing self-care in a way that nourishes your mind, body, and spirit. You will also learn how to create a daily gratitude practice and how to create boundaries so you see the positivity in your life and let go of the negativity.  Each week we will meet 1:1 either in the studio or via zoom for one hour as I guide yo on your journey to becoming a healthy and happy you.

Topics to choose from : Boundaries, Journaling, Meditation, and Gratitude.

During these self care classes I will discuss what the topic is, why the topic is so important to have in your life, and then teach you how to begin creating  your own practice of either boundaries, journaling, meditation, or gratitude.  These classes can be held 1:1 or with a group of friends and you will take home a takeaway so you don't have to worry about forgetting the information.

Join me four times a year, or maybe you schedule your own mini self love retreat with some friends,  we where we fill your cup up with self love. During this self love retreat I will guide you through a gentle yoga class followed by a self love meditation and journaling session.  We will also discuss the importance of boundaries, gratitude, and a daily self care practice. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

What About Me:

“What About Me” is a workshop that guides women of all ages, no matter what season of life they are in, on how to create their own daily self-care practice focusing on their mind, body, and spirit.

During the two hour workshop I teach about the five areas of the whole-self; physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual.  You'll learn how to self-care for each one of those five areas with the tips and tools that I have used in my daily self-care practice. I also share relatable life stories of how I began to build my daily self-care practice and how it has evolved over the years.  Also how the practice has helped me no longer mutter the words, “What About Me?” but instead continue on my journey to a healthy and happy lifestyle.

By taking this workshop "What About Me?" you will learn to....

  • Become as kind to yourself as you are to others. 

  • How to lovingly take care of your body.

  • Use less negative talk towards yourself. 

  • Give yourself grace. 

  • Make time for yourself. 

  • Become aware of when your resources are running low and find healthy ways that best serve you to replenish them. 

  • Possibly prevent yourself from obtaining health issues, having meltdowns, and experiencing burnout. 

  • Learn how to self regulate challenging emotions and create healthy coping mechanisms.

  • Learn to build boundaries for yourself.

  • Most importantly you learn how to self-love.
